My experience of using Spectrum to help arrange my mortgage for my French house purchase, was very positive. I am not a French speaker and so it was important to be able to communicate in English. The process was not too complicated but did involve following a pretty demanding process. Peter and Berangere were extremely helpful in making sure I was aware of what was required. There was a lot of personal information and documentation that required to be seen by potential funders and I was guided through this each step of the way. Spectrum quickly sourced potential funders and helped me through the process of supplying the necessary information. They found me a mortgage that suited my needs in terms of quantum and conditions. My mortgage was arranged and delivered on time and within the timescales I was led to expect by Spectrum. Altogether a very competent and efficient service. I would highly recommend.

Such are the vagaries of finding and securing property abroad, we ended up dealing with the ever-helpful Spectrum team over a period of two years. Finally, once the property was finally identified, the team pulled out all of the stops to get the wheels moving as quickly as possible. With the ability to scan and email documents, and fast response times, the whole process was relatively pain free. All the usual little problems were quickly ironed out, and we took possession right on schedule. Bérangère was a pleasure to deal with and I have no hesitation recommending Spectrum to others.
